What is a Preply promo code and how does it work?
Preply is an online tutoring platform for one-on-one lessons in languages and many other subjects. Learners browse tutor profiles and book a trial lesson first. After that, they can continue with a regular lesson plan.
A Preply promo code lowers the price of that first trial lesson. However, it does not come as a classic code you type at checkout. Instead, it comes as a special link. When you create your account through that link, the discount is attached to your account automatically.

What to do if the discount doesn’t appear
Many coupon sites list Preply codes that have expired or never worked. A link-based discount is far more reliable. Still, if you do not see 30% off at checkout, check the following:
- Existing account: If you have registered on Preply before, even without using it, the discount will not apply.
- Sign-up path: If you refreshed the page or signed up in another tab, the link may not have been recorded.
- Tutor price: According to Preply, the discount applies to tutors who charge at least $7 per hour.
- Lesson type: The discount covers the trial lesson only, not later lessons.
